This copper leaf on adjustable copper collar is a statement piece any time of year. Leaf measures approximately 2.5″ Collar measures approximately 12″-13″ with adjustable gap

Wet Felted Small Crossbody Bag

​Cost: $40

Participants will learn the art of wet felting while making a small (approx. 6” x 10”) flat bag with a flap, similar to this picture. A leather or similar strap will be included. You will choose your wool colors and embellishing fibers. No two will be the same. You will add a clasp and the strap.

​Students should bring a bath towel a hand towel and a large bowl (mixing bowl or similar). All items will only get wet and will be able to be used as usual after class. 
This craft involves a lot of upper body movement over a long period of time. There will be a break for lunch, bring your own
                                                               or visit the nearby pizza shop.

Feather tree

March 14 & April 4, 9-12 am
Cost: $80

Participants will first learn the history of the Goose Feather Tree. Then by cutting wire, fastening berries and wrapping wires begin feathering. You will finish all branches as homework. 
Session Two will include assembling the tree, wrapping the trunk in tape and crepe paper putting the tree in your base.
You will need the full time for both sessions. Arrive on time - we will start at 9.  For session two -  PLEASE only non-spillable containers will be allowed. The tables will be full with branches and materials.
Goose Feather Wreath Class

First you will learn the history of the German goose feather tree born from necessity. You will transform that skill into making a  small wreath. Each kit will make 3 goose feather wreaths, Your kit will include floral stem wire, floral tape, goose Biot feathers and ribbon for bows. You will learn how to feather in the traditional style and will finish at least one or perhaps two feather wreaths during our time together. Your wreaths can vary in size. Feather wreaths are a wonderful and unique treasure to keep or give as a gift.

Theorems and Vinegar Graining

​Students may choose a stencil design from the Distelfink Crafters extensive library of stencils. We have traditional early American designs, contemporary designs and holiday designs. An on-line catalog will be available to choose from, closer to the date. All supplies will be included in the price: use of the stencil, oil paints, stencil brushes, velveteen and more. Beginners welcome. Come learn the art of theorem painting.

Vinegar grain an 8” x 10” frame (some other sizes may be available). You will transform a solid wood frame into a work of art with this early American traditional method. All supplies included: frame, paint, vinegar glaze, pigments and shellac.

You will have enough time to stencil an 8”x10” picture and vinegar grain a frame if you would like to do both.

Felt Flower – Chinese Lantern

$15 per stem (5 lanterns per stem)
Min 8 participants, no max

Students will learn to construct one stem with 5 Chinese lanterns, container not included. Pick from traditional colors or a color to match your décor.  You will be working with felt, hot glue, wire and floral tape. All supplies will be included, plus use of necessary tools. There will be extra supplies to purchase to take home and complete if you would like more.
