Stenciling & Vinegar Graining

This class is open to members and Non-members.
Come spend a day either stenciling a theorem, or vinegar graining a frame, or both!
There will be one instructor on site to help guide you through the steps of either projects and answer questions. If you are a member and have your own stencil, you are welcome to come and complete it. Treat this as a day dedicated to your project.
Non-members can choose a stencil from our large catalog of designs. Download the pdf file below and page through the designs we have pictured to choose one. We also have many more not cataloged yet, mostly 8" x 10", so you can decide the day you arrive if you want.
Non-Member prices:
Vinegar Grain a 5" x 7" frame - $25
Vinegar Grain an 8" x 10" frame - $30
Stencil a theorem 5" x 7" - $15
Stencil a theorem 8" x 8" or 8" x 10" - $20
Included in the price -
Vinegar graining includes the frame, sandpaper to smooth it, paint and glaze to decorate it and shellac to seal it. This will take approximately 3 hours with 2 hours of dry time included. Many colors to choose from.
Stenciling will depend on the size and intricacies of the stencil, but many 8" x 10" theorems can be completed in 2 hours. This includes the use of a stencil, oil paints, a piece of velveteen, use of brushes, paper towels, tape and contact paper.
Vinegar graining and stenciling can be completed simultaneously.
Bring a lunch or take a break and go to Caruso's.
